Responsibilities

* Inventory Management: Ensure technicians are utilizing stock on hand effectively and preventing wastage of electrical components. Put orders in to major suppliers on a regular basis and manage stock levels at the workshop and in work vehicles alongside technicians
* Documentation: Ensure purchase orders, delivery dockets, and job cards are processed professionally and accurately on a daily basis through Simpro and other systems such as Safety Culture
* System Utilization: Use business systems and apps such as Simpro, Safety Culture, Gmail, and Google Apps to track stock movements and report daily activities to management.
* Logistics & Safety: Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, reviewing compliance with safety protocols within the storage area. Keeping it clean and tidy.
* Quality Control: Conduct checks on incoming materials to ensure they meet the standards, not damaged and correctly ordered
* Supplier Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain accurate price files within the company's catalog on Simpro. Shop around for best price on stock and parts for jobs.
* Staff Support: Check in with technicians and office staff at the end of the day to determine if additional materials or logistics support are needed for ongoing jobs. Technicians typically start at workshop 7am and storeman will be required to be at workshop same time to coordinate materials required for jobs and load into vans and utes

Whats on offer:

* Salary between $60k - $80k plus super plus vehicle

Daily Checklist
* Review and process purchase orders and delivery dockets accurately.
* Update inventory software and tools as materials arrive or are dispatched.
* Monitor stock levels for high-turnover electrical items.
* Check emails and apps for urgent material requests or delivery updates.
* Liaise with scheduler, team leader and accounts on a daily basis
Weekly Checklist
* Attend Thursday morning toolbox meetings at 6:30 AM to address safety and logistics updates.
* Conduct a warehouse spot check for cleanliness, safety, and organization.
* Liaise with the General Manager regarding upcoming project material requirements.
Monthly/Yearly Checklist
* Monthly: Attend toolbox meetings with suggestions for better stock management and new processes if required
* Yearly: Conduct a thorough evaluation of warehouse equipment and company vehicles, scheduling maintenance as required.
* Yearly: Participate in an annual performance review to discuss role relevance and professional development.

To be successful for the role you must have:

Current Australian drivers licence.

Current Forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.

Previous experience in a delivery driver role.

Able to show initiative and work unsupervised.

Able to use logic and think laterally to problem solve.

Basic computer literacy required.

High attention to detail.

Excellent customer service.
