The Office of Industrial Relations (OIR), within the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDIP) is searching for an experienced HR leader who thrives on balancing strategic vision with hands-on delivery.
We're looking for someone with a track record of building constructive stakeholder relationships and delivering fit-for-purpose contemporary solutions.
The Director of Human Resources leads a team of approximately 10 staff to deliver strategic, tactical and business-partnering services to OIR's workforce.
The HR team works in close collaboration with other people functions – Organisational Safety, Organisational Culture and Learning & Development – to deliver contemporary, fit-for-purpose solutions across the entire life-cycle.
This role – and the work your team does – is varied and has a large impact.
Responsibilities include designing and partnering on delivering strategic workforce initiatives, coordinating change processes, advising on the public sector employment framework, and managing complex HR issues.
