Job Description: In this role, you will work closely with clinical nurse managers to provide learning opportunities for staff in designated areas. Your key responsibilities will include assessing and identifying learning needs and objectives of individuals and groups, developing and implementing clinical education programs, and providing mentorship programs and support for new staff members.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse, effective communication skills both verbal and written, relevant postgraduate qualifications in a relevant area(s) of expertise and/or education, and demonstrated ability to effectively teach and preceptor nursing staff. Minimum of 5 years' postgraduate clinical experience in a critical setting (ICU or CCU) is desired.
