This is a full-time position focused on business development, building and maintaining strong relationships with local employers, community stakeholders, and industry groups. You will play a central role in bringing our vision to life; to be the country's leading provider of employment and training solutions.
Drawing on your knowledge of the local labour market, you will connect with the right employer networks to forge meaningful partnerships, generate leads, and drive outcomes that bring job seekers and employers together for lasting employment success.
An understanding of case management for job seekers facing barriers to employment is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided. This role involves regular travel across the local region. A current driver's licence is essential, and all travel costs are covered.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate leads and source vacancies aligned to job seekers' skills and experience
* Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry groups, and community organisations
* Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow employer partnerships
* Analyse local labour market trends to deliver informed coaching and advice to job seekers, employers, and team members
* Represent the organisation at networking events and actively market participants to prospective employers
