The Cyber Security Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing customer security governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance protocols.
This position ensures adherence to defense security regulatory requirements, develops security policies meeting business objectives, conducts regular risk assessments, and implements controls to protect customer digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and frameworks as per regulatory mandates.
* Perform frequent security audits and risk evaluations.
* Identify cyber security vulnerabilities and implement mitigating measures.
* Vulnerability Management and Threat Detection.
* Security Event log monitoring and incident response.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive Cyber Security Assessment and Authorization (Accreditation) documentation suite.
* Evaluate security control effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in cyber security/information technology or related field of study.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Cyber security risk management/policy development/governance.
* Strong knowledge of security audit, documentation development, vulnerability management, and security event monitoring.
* Industry certifications like CISA, ISO Lead Implementer/Auditor or similar are highly desirable.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
