Optical Dispenser / Optical Assistant – Full Time, Part Time or Casual
Adrenaline Optometry is a boutique, family-owned practice located in Terrigal. We pride ourselves on providing personalised eye care and a premium eyewear experience for our patients.
Due to growth, we are looking for a friendly and motivated team member to join our practice.
This role would suit someone with retail experience who enjoys fashion, helping people, and delivering excellent customer service.
About the Role
This is a varied role where you will work across customer service, eyewear styling, and general practice support.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle and style
* Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with patients
* Processing orders and managing patient records using our practice software
• Taking digital measurements for eyewear and assisting with frame adjustments (training provided)
• Managing phone enquiries, emails, and appointment bookings
• Processing online orders including packing and shipping
• Maintaining stock displays and ensuring the practice presentation remains high-end and welcoming
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the practice
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
• Experienced in retail sales (minimum 1 year required – fashion retail experience preferred)
* Friendly, confident and enjoys working with people
* Passionate about fashion and eyewear styling
• Experienced in retail sales (minimum 1 year required – fashion retail experience preferred)
• Comfortable working with numbers and mathematics
• Reliable, organised and detail-oriented
• Confident using computers, software programs ie Microsoft office and digital systems
• Available to work some Saturdays (9:00am – 1:00pm)
Optical experience is welcome but not essential, as training will be provided.
