YOU:
* Queensland Blue Card (Suitability for Working with Children) – can obtain once with SWJ
* Current CPR and Senior First Aid certificate or equivalent and the appropriate theoretical and practical training to provide emergency medical care
* Demonstrable experience and success in educating groups of teenagers, and the energy and enthusiasm to keep them interested
* Demonstrable experience and success in multi-day tour guiding or tour organisation
* Strong safety awareness and risk management skills
* Knowledge of Wet Tropics flora and fauna
* Ability to present positive aspects of Aboriginal culture and to discuss current Indigenous issues
* Live a "green" lifestyle and are excited to work for a small company that is focused on the environment and community. If you are still buying plastic water bottles then you are not.
* Knowledge of Cairns restaurants, shops and landmarks
* Have Queensland Driver's Authority and appropriate license class (at least Light Rigid) or the ability to get one once hired
