The Summary
The Account Manager oversees media campaign planning, analysis,and architecture, managing a team of Account Executives and Coordinators, whileensuring successful media bookings, tracking, and performance for clients. Theycollaborate with internal specialists and media partners, deliver high-qualityreporting and recommendations, and support client education and training. TheAccount Manager plays a crucial role in driving online media options andassisting with financial responsibilities.

The Role
Focused on the planning, analysis and architecture of mediacampaigns, the Account Manager is responsible for the output of AccountExecutives and Coordinators and the booking, tracking and performance of allmedia activity. Collaborating with team’s buyer and internal specialist units,the Account Manager keeps a close eye on campaigns to ensure results deliver toexpectations for all client activity.
Requirements
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
1. Buildsrelationships with key media partners and internal specialist units to maintainindustry knowledge.
2. Developsnew methods of imparting and sharing best practices to assist with Executiveand Coordinator digital development.
3. Collaboratewith client team to educate and train digital / hybrid team members intooffline best practices and ideal offline solutions.
4. Ensurequality output of all reporting, recommendations, and client/mediacommunications.
5. Confidencein presenting media solutions and other documents through to clients.
6. Manageall media negotiations, planning, tracking, and reporting.
7. Workclosely with the Account Director / Group Account Director to drive onlinemedia options in support of client business strategies.
8. Assistancein client forecasting, EOM billing and financial discrepancies.
GeneralCompetencies
9. Tertiaryeducation (preferably Marketing or related)
10. Experiencein managing staff within a media agency or similar field
11. 3+years' experience in a media role.
12. Thrivein a fast-paced environment; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinessimultaneously.
13. Excellentcommunication and presentation skills.
14. Proactive,self-starter, clear communicator, autonomous worker as required.
15. Strongdata analysis and problem-solving skills.
16. Expertwith industry planning & reporting technologies (Google Analytics, RoyMorgan, Nielsen, WizzAds etc.)
17. Expert in industry ad products, richmedia, specifications, file formats etc
