We provide Contract workers to the Australian Federal Government.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate procurement processes from initiation to contract award, ensuring compliance with government policies, regulations, and procurement frameworks.
* Conduct market research and analysis to inform procurement strategies and identify potential suppliers and vendors.
* Develop and issue procurement documentation, including requests for proposals, requests for quotations, and tender documents.
* Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate contracts and agreements that deliver value for money and meet project requirements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide advice and guidance on procurement processes and best practices.
* Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability in all procurement activities.
Key Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrated experience in procurement roles within the Australian Public Service or a similar government environment.
* Knowledge of government procurement policies, regulations, and frameworks, including the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and relevant legislation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex procurement issues and develop innovative solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and build effective relationships.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver procurement outcomes within tight deadlines and budget constraints.
* Tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, business, or a related field (desired but not essential).
