Data Analyst/Project officer required for an initial 6-month contract in Canberra

You will be working for a large federal government department.
**Your new role**
As the data analyst/project officer, you will be assisting in the creation of future state strategies for the agency's digital claiming channels and related digital access solution(s). This will include research, analysis, stakeholder engagement and production of quality project artefacts.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Data presentation and analysis
- Data analysis, data custodianship, EDW, SAS, Power BI and other common analysis and presentation tools/systems.
- Benefits mapping to support costings
- Manage, refine and assess the project's data holdings
- Detect and handle data inconsistencies
- Evaluate, define, integrate and organise data coming from multiple sources
- Perform cost analysis activities as required
- Performing detailed technical and change assessments considering feasibility, resource effort, risks and benefits
- Undertaking research to allow evidence-based decisions
- Administrative assistance to the project and section as required
- Identify and assist with the management of project issues, risks and benefits
- Represent the team or work area in discussions with internal and external counterparts
- Contribute to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose
- Project and/or change management principles, methodologies and tools
- You must be an Australian citizen with a current Baseline level Clearance
