Job Description:
Our organization is seeking a skilled Accountant/Cost Controller to join our team. This individual will be responsible for drawing on strong interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as expertise in building and managing budgets, to assist with budgeting and finance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage budgets for the MEM department at a mining giant.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to reduce OpEx and CapEx.
* Build and maintain Power BI Dashboards to analyze financial data.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting or preferred qualification.
* Minimum 5 years commercial accounting/cost controller experience in a mine-site environment.
* Experience building and managing budgets, with exposure to mining equipment, fixed mobile plant, and SAP.
