As we Create with Collaboration, Serve with Integrity, Grow with Excellence, and Advance with Innovation.**The Opportunity****PURPOSE:**• JBTM is a multinational company dealing with Food Processing Technology. • The position is responsible for the Managing Projects in ANZ region. • PM shall be responsible for company targets in terms of Sales, maintaining GM% and POC • PM shall support the customer care team to provide budgets during pre-sales stage. • PM shall forward weekly/monthly project reports regularly. Reports include forecast of costs, variances and risks. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously • Project management shall include intercompany communication with various JBTM manufacturing units and technology centers. • PM shall handle sourcing, negotiation from suppliers and seeking approval • Job shall also include supporting sales, application and aftermarket departments. • Project manager may also be called on to handle projects within the company and APAC region. Will execute other additional duties as required. • Job entails lots of travel within ANZ region and at times, APAC and worldwide**SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY:** • To Manage Projects in terms of Scope, Time, Budget and safety • Receives direction from management to set objectives for projects. • Demonstrates proficiency in using independent judgment. Consistently and clearly demonstrates creativity and innovation in finding solutions. • Projects may involve new technology or new engineering content. • Defines project schedule. • Accurately able to forecasts costs for projects regularly • Anticipates potential risks and proactively solves problems using internal and external resources. • Train & develop juniors in technical and Project management capabilities • Develop & maintain customer relationship**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:*** Responsible for developing project plans and schedules. Works with functional groups (Sales/applications, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing) to develop and assign tasks.* Responsible for effective customer communications throughout all phases of the project to customer signoff acceptance.* Responsible to verify final inspection and machine document status prior to shipping* Plan and coordinate project installation as required with service, customer and outside contractors.* Facilitate communications between cross company and functional teams to ensure that issues are identified and incorporated into schedules and processes, through all project phases.* Effectively manage equipment suppliers and contractors* Responsible for ensuring Project Gross margins and overall costs.* Management of Change Orders and extra work done* Give feedback to Sales, Applications, Engineering, Manufacturing and Service on machines running in the field, to improve: design, manufacturing process, installation and future quotations* Maintains an understanding and commitment to business goals and creates energy and action toward those goals.* To be in charge to maintain the customer relationship* Any other jobs / projects to be assigned by the supervisor as appropriate.**QUALIFICATIONS:** • This position requires a minimum of Bachelor of Engineering (electrical, mechanical, Chemical etc.) • Five to Ten Year experience in Project management and Engineering. • Exposure to Food technology processes & equipment. • Some knowledge of fillers, closers, aseptic filling, refrigeration would be advantageous • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Project Management techniques and standards. • Verbal & written communication in English. • Handling international customers • Demonstrates effective leadership ability within a matrixed team environment and contributes significantly to team performance. • Demonstrates interpersonal skills and effective communication across functional and managerial boundaries. • Ability to communicate effectively with management from various levels within the organization and customers.**TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:*** Develop knowledge in multiple product lines JBTM has.* Learn more about project coordination with different technical canters & manufacturing units* Expansion of effective communication skills across cultural and global boundaries.**RELATIONSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Presently no direct reports.* PM has to coordinate team members from various functional groups, as required for project execution.* Indicate internal/external contacts and purpose of contacts.* External contacts - Customers, Suppliers, Contractors* Internal - Sales, Applications, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, After Market, Management.**WORK ENVIRONMENT:*** Approximately 60% of all work is performed in an office setting and 40% at sites- dependent on project complexity.* Extended periods of time will be at a computer terminal.
