Electro Technical Specialist
The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure the optimal functioning and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment onboard a cement carrier operating in the Bass Strait.
* Regular inspection and upkeep of vessel's electrical and electronic systems
* Rendering assistance as required to maintain efficient operations
* First level maintenance of communications, radio and navigation equipment is also expected
* Support for safe and efficient running of electrical equipment during cargo handling operations
Key Requirements:
* A valid AMSA Marine Order 72 – Electro-Technical Officer certificate
* AMSA Electro-Technical Officer CoC/CoR Unlimited
* Certificate of Safety Training (STCW) is desirable
* Work Safely at Heights Certification and Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification are also highly desirable
* Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
* Australian citizenship or unlimited Australian working rights
