Morwell Medical Centre is a modern, patient-focused general practice committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to our local community. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.
This position is available as Casual, with the opportunity to transition to Permanent Full Time or Part Time after an initial three-month period, based on mutual agreement and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Assisting GPs with clinical procedures
* Immunisations and cold chain management
* Wound care and dressings
* ECGs, spirometry, and health assessments
* Chronic disease management support
* Sterilisation and infection control
* Patient triage and clinical support
* Maintaining accurate clinical records
Essential Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude
Preferred (but not essential)
* Previous experience in General Practice or Primary Care
* Experience using Best Practice software
* Immunisation certification
