We are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at TKL Mechanical in Bunbury, WA.
This full-time role involves the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a variety of light vehicles to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing
Inspect, diagnose and repair light vehicles, including cars, vans and light trucks
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections and servicing
Identify and rectify electrical, mechanical and electronic faults
Test repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out
Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Formal qualification in automotive mechanical repair, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Proven experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, preferably in a workshop or dealership environment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards
