We are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at TKL Mechanical in Bunbury, WA. This full-time role involves the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a variety of light vehicles to the highest standard.
What you\'ll be doing
* Inspect, diagnose and repair light vehicles, including cars, vans and light trucks
* Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections and servicing
* Identify and rectify electrical, mechanical and electronic faults
* Test repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures
What we\'re looking for
* Formal qualification in automotive mechanical repair, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
* Proven experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, preferably in a workshop or dealership environment
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards
