The Role
As a Department Manager, you will lead your department team to deliver exceptional customer service to every JD customer.
You will work closely with the store's management team to create great in-store experiences, maintain merchandising and visual standards, and deliver the financial results for your department.
You will lead by example and coach your team to achieve sales and key performance metrics, ensuring a 'service over task' environment.

* Support the management team to improve financial performance within your department
* Work with the back‐of‐house team to ensure product availability

What We're Looking For
* 2–3 years of leadership experience within retail or a similar industry
* A passion for delivering an amazing service experience for customers
* A positive attitude and capacity to create a motivating environment for your team
* A proven track record of driving and exceeding KPIs and communicating well with all stakeholders
* Excellent time‐management skills to ensure daily priorities are executed on time
* Thrives in a fast‐paced, ever‐changing environment
* Openly shares knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals
* A desire to develop yourself, your career and learn new skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, thriving in social situations with customers and team members
