Job Description
As a vital member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with daily living activities. This includes establishing effective communication channels to understand participants' needs and addressing them promptly.
You will be responsible for ensuring timely appointment scheduling and adherence with patients' physicians as required. Your primary focus will be on the well-being and safety of participants under care, interacting respectfully with participants and their relatives when necessary.
It is essential to maintain confidentiality in all matters related to participants or their families at all times. You will also need to extend support periods if the need arises and notify the participant's physician/director and family in the case of serious side effects or health-related issues.
Additionally, you will assist with household duties such as laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, gardening, shopping, and supporting participants in their interests and hobbies. You will also assist participants with personal care needs.

This role requires a Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent, a current driving license, and current CPR/First Aid certification. A minimum of two years' experience in disability, community, or acute care is also necessary. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility in working hours and conditions, and ability to work as part of a team are highly valued.
