Position Overview
The Aged Care Rapid Response Team (ARRT) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate responses to Residential Aged Care Facilities. This position involves working evenings and weekends.

Remuneration : $2,170.30 - $2,241.60 per week

Work Location & Responsibilities
The CNS2 role involves leading clinical practice development and service delivery, focusing on hospital avoidance strategies for people aged 70 and over in Residential Aged Care Facilities and the community. The team operates from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide senior clinical leadership and develop specialist practice within a nursing team.
* Utilize advanced clinical skills with autonomy, working closely with managers and senior clinicians.
Candidate Requirements
* Current RN registration with AHPRA, with relevant post-registration qualifications and a minimum of 3 years' experience in Aged Care and/or Community Nursing.
* Experience in comprehensive assessment of older adults, with knowledge of aged care, rehabilitation, and community care services.
* Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and willingness to learn electronic health systems.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience in initiating quality improvements and evidence-based practice.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence.
