We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our culinary team as a Sous Chef.
This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure high-quality dishes are produced efficiently and consistently.
Your Responsibilities:
• Manage kitchen staff, provide guidance and mentorship to improve performance
• Plan and coordinate daily food production, maintaining quality and consistency
• Assist in developing and implementing new menu ideas
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff members
About You:
• Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration between team members
• Certification in commercial cookery or relevant equivalent
