We are seeking a Transport Manager to oversee the daily allocation of freight for our growing client base. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the transport industry, preferably in middle mile road freight forwarding.What you'll do:Manage end-to-end fulfillment processes with transport carriers for our clientsIdentify root causes of issues and implement appropriate corrective actions to meet customer expectationsMaintain industry-leading DIFOT while complying with CoR/HVNL requirementsUtilize our proprietary TMS, identify improvements, and train team membersSupport operations by managing escalated issues and assisting the Operations ManagerMotivate and lead a team of several staff membersQualifications and Skills:Extensive experience in the transport industry, ideally in middle mile freight forwardingWide network of line-haul carriers across Australia is highly advantageousComfortable working with computer systems (training provided for our proprietary systems)Proven leadership skills under pressurePractical, proactive mindset to develop transport solutions for clientsDesire to learn, adapt, and grow professionallyAt Ofload, we prioritize impact, aptitude, and passion.
