Perth Radiological Clinic (PRC) is the largest private radiological practice in Western Australia with 23 hospital and clinic locations. We provide high quality diagnostic imaging services, using the most up-to-date technology and highly trained medical professionals. We are the official medical imaging provider for the Perth Glory, Perth and West Perth Football Clubs.
The opportunity
Perth Rad Clinic (PRC) are seeking a Medical Receptionist for our North of the River Recruitment Pool on a permanent full time basis with shifts varying between 6:45am – 5:30pm.
You will be required to support and travel to several clinics based on operational requirements including Alkimos, Innaloo, Joondalup Health Campus, Joondalup Shenton House, Midland Public Hospital, Midland Victoria Street, Morley and Nollamara.
Reporting to the Clerical Supervisor, your day will involve:
Maintain a high standard of patient care, safety and confidentiality while following PRC guidelines and processes.
Greet and check in patients upon arrival, for the appropriate visits and schedule follow up clinical appointments as required.
Handle accounts, banking, Medicare batching, and other billing activities.
Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
Other admin duties to support the daily workflow and function of the front-end team.
What do you need to be considered?
Ideally the preferred candidate will hold at least 2 years' experience in a customer service role. You will be able to communicate professionally both written and verbally and have the ability to learn and use software and systems. You will present with an approachable manner and display a high level of patient care.
Along with the following requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
Full Australian working rights (ensure unrestricted rights if on a visa).
Able to provide a National Police Check within 6 months or willing to obtain.
