Advanced Trainee Position
About the Role:
This Advanced Trainee position presents a unique opportunity to provide high-quality critical care to patients in need. The successful applicant will work under the guidance of experienced clinicians, contributing to leadership roles and educational activities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver expert critical care to acutely ill and injured patients during prehospital and inter-hospital transfers.
* Maintain clear communication among medical staff, aeromedical crew, and Aeromedical Control Centre.
* Encourage trainees to achieve Associateship in Pre-Hospital and Emergency Medicine through the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.
Key Requirements:
* Hold an MBBS or equivalent qualification, registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Have at least 3 years postgraduate experience, including Provisional Training under the ACEM program.
* Demonstrate ability to care for critically ill patients in resource-limited environments.
* Show proven capacity to perform duties physically and psychologically in varied settings.
* Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
