Overview of role:

The Bendigo Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) is embarking on a major multi-million-dollar upgrade to secure sustainable, reliable wastewater services for the next 50 years. We are seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive delivery of this critical project, overseeing contract negotiation, design review, construction, and stakeholder management. This is a unique opportunity to lead a skilled team, manage complex infrastructure works, and play a key role in shaping the future of wastewater treatment for the Bendigo community.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Lead Project Manager, you'll be accountable for:

* Lead project delivery including design review, construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring the project is delivered with safety as a core value.
* Deliver on scope, budget and timeframes, ensuring the project is completed to specification, within the approved budget, and to agreed deadlines.
* Manage people and relationships, leading the project team, coordinating internal and external resources, and maintaining strong stakeholder and client engagement.
* Oversee governance and risk, handling project reporting, managing commercial and program claims, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
* Drive quality and improvement, embedding Quality Assurance practices and seeking opportunities to optimise processes throughout delivery.

About you:

A tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field

10 plus years' experience in the field of Project Management

Specialist knowledge and experience in managing large construction projects

Commercial, contractual and technical knowledge relevant to construction projects within the wastewater industry.

Salary:

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 6 $142,905 - $162,360 Plus Superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
