Disability Support Workers needed for the WESTERN SUBURBS AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
Location: Tarniet, Melton, Airport West, Weirs View and surrounding areas.

We are currently seeking a Female and Male Disability Support Worker to support a participant in the Western Suburbs area. This role is ideal for someone experienced in complex care and personal support who is passionate, reliable, and person-centred.
Key Responsibilities
Services may include (but are not limited to):
* In-home support
* Personal care (morning and evening shifts)
* Hoist transfers (experience required)
* Meal preparation
* Companionship and emotional support
* Assistance with daily living activities
* Community access, including medical appointments, shopping, and social outings
Shifts Available
Ongoing weekday shifts available for the right candidate, including:
* Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:30am – 3:00pm (St Kilda)
* Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am – 9:30am (Tarniet)
* Mondays, Thursdays & Saturdays: 10:00am – 3:00pm
* Wednesdays: 10:00am – 1:00pm (Melton)
* Thursdays: 2:00pm – 6:30pm (Altona)
* Mondays to Sundays: 9:30am – 1:30pm and/or 3:00pm – 6:00pm (Airport West)
Opportunity for an ongoing, set part-time or full-time roster.
About You
As a Disability Support Worker, you will demonstrate:
* A strong understanding of the needs and vulnerabilities of people with disabilities and their families
* Commitment to the welfare, rights, dignity, and personal development of participants
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times
* Accurate and objective documentation in line with company policies and procedures
* Confidence and experience in personal care and hoist use
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Ageing Support, or currently studying (or equivalent experience in the sector)
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Australian Police Check (or willingness to obtain) - no older than 6 months
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module (free)
* Valid Australian driver's licence
* Access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
* Full Australian work rights
* A reliable, responsible attitude and ability to commit to regular hours
