Overview
Registered Nurse Level 2 - ED Clinical Development Nurse. Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary 6-12 months with possibility of extension and/or permanency. Location: North Canberra Hospital. Section: Emergency Department. Closing Date: 25 September 2025.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a range of educational initiatives—formal, informal, and opportunistic—that support staff development and enhance clinical skills across the Emergency Department.
* Provide clinical leadership and promote high standards of professional and clinical practice in emergency nursing.
* Contribute to the advancement of nursing education and support departmental management activities, including oversight of designated portfolios.
* Mentor, guide, and collaborate to foster a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence in a fast-paced ED.
* Ensure compliance with pre-employment checks and Canberra Health Services policies as applicable.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Registered Nurse Level 2 (600932).
* Pre-employment National Police Check; compliance with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
* Experience in emergency nursing education or clinical development is desirable.

* Salary: $110,733 – $117,053 (Plus 12% Super).
