Parliamentary News Editor
We are seeking a highly skilled Parliamentary News Editor to join our Canberra-based team at the Parliamentary Press Gallery in Australian Parliament House.
This is an onsite role only, requiring flexibility with working hours to suit the Parliamentary schedule and team roster.
The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering comprehensive parliamentary intelligence services to our clients by curating and publishing timely public-source news materials, anticipating and alerting subscribers to real-time news updates, and crafting concise, topical editorials that keep pace with the week in Parliament.

The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration and communication skills, with excellent time management and organisational abilities. Prior experience in content production, copy editing or publishing is essential, as well as knowledge of Government/Parliamentary sources.
A strong understanding of Australian Parliamentary processes and a passion for emerging technology and process innovation would be highly regarded.
