Leading a team of healthcare professionals requires dedication, clinical expertise and strong mentoring skills to deliver high-quality care to residents. This role reports directly to the General Manager and involves managing the needs of residents, documenting assessments and leading clinical teams.
The Key Responsibilities
* Lead by example and provide clinical guidance to the clinical and care service teams.
* Work with the team to monitor and track key clinical indicators to achieve best practice care outcomes.
* Manage AN-ACC requirements, documentation and IT system support.
* Coordinate the assessment, care planning and review processes.
* Support the admissions process for new residents and ensure accurate information recording.
* Input and oversee facility team rosters and skill mix.
* Identify and manage clinical risks, documenting continuous improvements.
What You Will Offer
* A genuine passion for delivering quality care and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
* At least one year's experience in a similar leadership role or as a Clinical Care Coordinator.
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1.
* Postgraduate qualifications in aged care are desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge and experience of Aged Care clinical assessments, care plans, AN-ACC and accreditation compliance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and remain calm under pressure.
