We're on the lookout for a passionate and guest-focused Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team and help us deliver an effortless stay for every guest, every time.
About the Role
Reporting to the Duty Manager, you’ll be the face of the hotel—welcoming guests, checking them in and out, managing bookings, handling guest queries, and making sure everything runs smoothly at the front desk. You’ll also assist with food & beverage service in our Great Room, follow hotel safety procedures, and make sure our guests feel valued and looked after.
What You’ll Do
* Greet guests warmly and professionally in person and over the phone
* Check guests in and out, process payments, and handle enquiries
* Promote IHG Rewards and help achieve enrolment targets
* Upsell rooms and hotel services to maximise revenue
* Assist in food and beverage service (including handling light meals and beverages)
* Maintain front desk, guest areas, and workstations to a high standard
* Respond to guest concerns quickly and with genuine care
* Support with basic hotel operations, including luggage assistance if needed (up to 30kg)
* Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed
Who You Are
* A team player with a warm, approachable personality
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
* Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Confident using technology and handling transactions
* Flexible with shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and late nights
* RSA certified (or willing to obtain)
