Southeast Queensland - Gympie to Northern NSW 4 days on the road, 1 day in office $100K Super | Ford Ranger XLT full perks This is not your typical safety role. This isn't a desk job with the occasional site visit. It's a get-in-the-car, get-out-on-site and get-it-done kind of role - where your impact is seen in real time, not just written in a report. What this role really is You'll be across multiple residential construction sites each week, not just parked at one. You’ll be: - On the road most of the week, visiting sites across Southeast Queensland - ♂️ Working side-by-side with Construction Supervisors and our trades onsite - Conducting site audits, safety inspections and risk assessments - Writing and reviewing SWMS, plus keeping compliance tight - ✅ Ensuring trades are site ready (insurances, SWMS, site standards) - Completing safety walkthroughs of display homes before they open to the public - Coaching, influencing, and reinforcing what “good” looks like on site This is a hands-on, high-visibility role. You're the bridge between what should happen and what's actually happening on site. Let's be real about the role This job has range - and you need to be comfortable with all of it. You'll be on your feet, climbing scaffold & hang ons, walking sites and getting in to the detail You'll be driving a lot and managing your own schedule You'll still need to stay on top of admin, reporting & SWMS It's a balance - physical presence on site and sharp attention to detail behind the scenes. Who this suits Someone with a strong residential construction background who's ready to step into a broader, more influential role. You might be: A Construction Site supervisor who knows how sites really run Used to managing multiple jobs and shifting priorites Detail-driven, but practical - you know what works in the real world Confident communicating with trades & supervisors alike High energy and proactive - you don't wait to be told People listen to you because you've been in their boots. Who this is NOT for ❌ Someone looking for a mostly office-based position ❌ Someone who prefers theory over hands-on site work ❌ Someone not comfortable with the physical side of construction environments and the weather that goes with it ❌ Someone who doesn't enjoy being out on the road regularly ❌ Someone afraid of heights What you’ll get - $100K Super - Fully maintained Ford Ranger XLT (no company branding - Fuel, tolls unlimited personal use) - Mobile phone iPad - Variety - no two days or sites are the same - Autonomy and trust to run your week The vibe We're serious about safety, but not stiff about it. The role is about being present, practical and proactive. Not ticking boxes - actually making sites safer. This is about Real conversations Practical solutions Being present on site Making a visible difference The fine print - must haves Certificate IV in OHS - at a minimum ICAM trained or equivalent Proven experience in a HSE role – ideally in residential construction or a similar field.
