Job Role
As a podiatrist in residential aged care, you will provide routine assessments and treatments across a 6-week roster. You will work with clients in aged care facilities and communities to deliver consistent and continuous care.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough podiatry assessments and make accurate diagnoses.
* Develop treatment plans that cater to individual client needs and review them regularly.
* Apply best practice in disease management and wound care.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare teams.
* Provide ongoing support and education to clients throughout their care journey.
Key Requirements:
* A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Podiatry is essential.
* You must hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* You should have Australian working rights.
* Current Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
* You are expected to obtain NDIS worker screening and National Police Check if applicable.
