Famous for our flame grilled steaks and ribs, Hurricane's Grill & Bar steakhouses are well-known worldwide. The Hurricane's brand spans 24 years with our first Sydney steakhouse opening in Roscoe Street, Bondi Beach in 1995.

The Role

We are looking for a supervisor at Top Ryde location who will be responsible along with our Venue operations manager for the leadership of our team, across the following Key Result Areas:
People & Process Management - the crux of this role is to oversee service excellence while ensuring efficient people and process management. This includes the effective management of staff across recruitment, training, daily restaurant operations and performance management.

Financial Management & Compliance -ensuring adherence to financial management and planning is critical to the success of the business. This includes a deep understanding and commercial acumen across wage cost analysis, customer spend and upselling, and budgetary compliance to deliver results to set KPI's. Within this KRA there is also a requirement to ensure adherence to workplace rules and regulations.

Teamwork & Leadership - outside the mechanics of this position is the responsibility to help build and lead the FOH team which includes developing capability and skills and building an internal talent pipeline to succession people in the business. This involves driving a high performance culture, influencing desired behaviors and managing productivity, accountability and attitude.

What You Need

You hold a current NSW RSA and have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar high-volume, fast paced environment in a supervisory or management position where you have been responsible for the leadership of a FOH team. You have exposure to roster management, wage cost compliance and revenue management as well as experience in recruitment, training and the performance management of your team.

Salary & Benefits:

- $30-$41 per hour to start, with the opportunity of becoming full-time

Part-time hours: 30-38 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $41.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ryde, NSW 2112: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Restaurant management: 3 years (preferred)
- Food Service Managers: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
