The Role
Youlllead the design delivery and governance of engineering platforms and integration capabilities. This role will ensure scalable secure and efficient development environments robust integration architecture and streamlined release management to support modernisation initiatives and business agility.
The role will manage a team across core enterprise applications and will include integration and development teams moving to Azure services. Leadership of development teams with governance oversight is key to this role alongside leadership of both onshore / offshore development teams. Technical credibility is essential to this role as you must be able to engage deeply enough with senior developers / technical leads and architects. Environment & release management accountability will be part of this portfolio as well as line responsibility for the Solution Architect in the team. Working closely with the architect overseeing solution design reviews and alignment with architecture standards and roadmaps.
Critical to the role will be the ability to build maturity in SDLC processes environments release and change management testing and quality gates.
Solid stakeholder management across all application domains project involvement from solution design through to BAU transition working in a matrixed environment with PMO.
What you bring to the role
* Strong background in platform engineering DevOps and integration architecture
* Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
* Strong track record of delivering complex integration and platform solutions on time and within budget
* Experienced with CI / CD automation environment provisioning release orchestration using Azure DevOps
* Expertise in Azure Integration Services
* Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards
* Proficiency in Citizen Development framework development (API Microservices secure coding)
* Experience with Agile methodologies DevOps pipelines and cloud-based integration platforms
