At MadisonAV, we're on the lookout for a Support Technician to join our National Technical Support Team in Murarrie. You'll be the problem-solving powerhouse behind world-class brands like AMX, JBL, Soundcraft, BSS, Yealink, Philips, Netgear Pro and more, making sure our resellers, integrators, and end-users are always supported.
The opportunity 
- Troubleshoot everything from audio dropouts to video control configuration quirks. 
- Escalate the really tricky stuff to senior technicians or global vendors. 
- Keep support records sharp and tidy in our case management system. 
- Share your knowledge by contributing to guides, FAQs, and documentation. 
- Stay up-to-date with firmware, product releases, and training from our global partners. 
- Occasionally step out from behind the desk for dealer training, trade shows, or webinars.
Bonus points if you:
- Hold AV/IT certifications or training in installation, networking, or AV engineering. 
- Have programming experience (Netlinx, Python, Java, C++). 
- Are a natural communicator who can turn complex tech into simple steps. 
- Are self-driven, detail-focused, and love learning new tech.

What we are looking for
Around 2 years' experience in technical support, AV systems, or as an audio technician. 
- Familiarity with pro AV gear — control systems (AMX), AV over IP, audio processors (BSS, DBX), PA systems (JBL, Crown), mixers (Soundcraft), wireless systems (AKG), and digital signage (Philips, Spinetix). 
- Calm, professional phone manner + strong troubleshooting chops. 
- A solid grasp of signal flow, networking (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Dante, Bluetooth) and AV system integration. 
- Confident with Windows/macOS and CRM or ticketing platforms. 
- Above all, a passion for solving problems and helping people.
