Working for the APAC division of a listed European group, you will be an integral part of the Tax and Accounting team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Tax Manager, your key focus will be tax-effect accounting and preparation of income tax returns for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region. You will also work with the team on the following:
Liaison with external advisers and auditors in relation to tax matters
Managing tax payments such as PAYG and withholding tax
Preparation of FBT and GST returns
Involvement in tax projects, process improvements and managing tax-related systems
Ideally, this will be a part-time role, working 4 days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have significant corporate tax accounting experience with tax-effect accounting and income tax preparation being non-negotiable. You should also have strong knowledge of transfer pricing, GST, FBT and payroll tax as well as intermediate to advanced Excel skills and exposure to a large ERP system.
