Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the mechanical aspects of our clients Solar Farm construction project in Port Hedland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising mechanical activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and maintaining project schedules.
Location: Port Hedland - FIFO
Roster: 3 weeks on, 1 week off (3:1)
Commencement: ASAP
Employment Capacity: Permanent Full-time
Salary: Base + super + 30% site uplift
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction activities on-site, including equipment installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
2. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
3. Manage and motivate a team of mechanical technicians and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
4. Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any mechanical issues or deficiencies.
5. Coordinate with other supervisors and project managers to optimise construction schedules and resource allocation.
6. Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials usage, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
7. Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in mechanical construction, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
8. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
9. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction techniques.
10. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
11. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
12. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures.
13. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
14. Valid driver's license and white card.
