A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join Combined Waste Services Pty Ltd working out of our Geelong Depot.
To be considered for this role you should have the following experience:
We require a qualified heavy vehicle diesel mechanic to join our current team. The role will include diagnosing, repairing and servicing a broad range of vehicles and machinery. Servicing will primarily take place from our depot in Geelong and onsite as needed
This is a full-time position with the opportunity to also work our vehicles during larger projects and busy periods as needed.
* Mobile Plant Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Trade certificate:
* Experience in all the following heavy commercial machinery i.e. Prime Movers, Rigid Vehicles, Vacuum/Blower Systems, High Pressure Water Jetting Equipment
* Welding, fabrication
* Electrical fault finding and repair
* On-Road Heavy Vehicle experience
* Strong focus on safety
* Basic computing skills
* Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Self-motivated and hard working with a professional attitude
* Minimum HR/HC Non-Synchro would be an advantage
* Be able to work unsupervised
* Full time position
