The Clinical Director Anaesthetics will be a valued member of the Surgical & Perioperative Division, undertaking clinical leadership to provide coordinated, high-quality Anaesthetic services. The role involves developing and elevating the profile of services for Albury Wodonga Health (AWH). The Clinical Director is responsible for creating the AWH Anaesthetics Services Plan, aiming to develop a contemporary department prepared to meet community needs over the next 10 years and in preparation for the Hospital Redevelopment. The role reports to the Medical Director of Perioperative Services and the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing departmental activity.
The Clinical Director will collaborate with other departments to plan, develop, and implement coordinated clinical services, service plans, and workforce planning aligned with AWH's strategic priorities under the leadership of their Divisional Medical Director.
We Are Seeking Applicants Who Meet The Following Criteria
* Registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Current Fellowship of the Australasian College or other relevant fellowship.
* Demonstrated management and operational skills to lead a team of multidisciplinary health professionals and administrative staff.
* Ability to implement complex strategies to build support from internal and external stakeholders, using tailored influencing approaches.
