Roster: 8:6– FIFO Perth (Thursday to Thursday)
About Us
Meeka Metals Limited (ASX:MEK) owns and operates Western Australia's newest gold mine – the Murchison Gold Project, located 50 km north of Meekatharra.
The project comprises both open pit and underground mining, with an initial mine life of 9 years. Gold production commenced in July 2025 and site activities are rapidly ramping up.
We are seeking a Core Yard Technician and Drilling Fieldy to support the site.
About the Role
The role will assist in core yard activities and assist with field work as required.
Key responsibilities include marking up core, moving core from racks, cutting core using a core yard core saw, collecting field samples, and maintaining a clean and tidy work space.
The position is offered on an attractive 8 days on / 6 days off roster, FIFO ex-Perth.
About You
You will be a motivated individual with familiarity in a coreyard environment. It would be beneficial if you are familiar working around drilling rigs.
Experience in coreyards (i.e., can hit the ground running and markup, cut and sample core).
Experience in the field collecting samples and helping geos.
Experience with pXRF advantageous.
Experience working in hot and demanding conditions.
Strong organisational skills.
Computer literacy skills are required (Excel, email).
A current manual Australian Driver's licence.
Current (less than 6 months old) National Police Clearance.
