Market-Leading Multi-Brand Retail Group Commercially Focused Role | Broad Operational Exposure Partner with Senior Leaders | Strong Career Progression The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a highly successful, retail group during a period of sustained growth.
This role offers broad exposure across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis, supporting multiple brands and key operational leaders across the organisation.
Reporting directly to the FP A Lead and partnering closely with senior finance leadership, you will deliver insights that drive performance, strengthen financial capability and influence key decision-making in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
The Challenge In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary to support performance reviews.
Delivering budgeting and forecasting across brands, stores and operational departments.
Partnering with business leaders across Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement teams to provide meaningful commercial insights.
Analysing key drivers including sales, margins, labour, wastage and store performance.
Supporting decision-making relating to new store openings, initiatives, pricing and capital investment.
The Expertise To be successful in this role, you will bring: Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
CA or CPA qualification (or working towards).
3-6 years' experience in management accounting, financial analysis, commercial accounting or within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier accounting environment.
Experience in retail, FMCG or multi-site environments (advantageous).
Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance and operations.
A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
