ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a natural leader who thrives on turning plans into reality? SERENDIA is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor / Foreman to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. You’ll be the driving force on-site, ensuring every detail is executed with precision, on time, and within budget. WHAT YOU WILL BRING
* Lead and manage daily on-site operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
* Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project deadlines and budgets.
* Enforce compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) laws, the National Construction Code (NCC), and Australian Standards.
* Identify and resolve on-site issues swiftly to maintain project momentum.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
* Maintain clear and consistent communication with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
* Keep accurate site diaries, track project progress, and report any risks or delays.
* Mentor junior staff and cultivate a positive, productive site culture.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* 4+ years’ experience in commercial construction as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, NCC, Australian Standards, and EHS regulations.
* Proficiency in Procore, MS Office and MS Project.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive project outcomes.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to site challenges.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
* A trade background or Certificate IV/Diploma in Building and Construction is preferred.
* Current White Card is essential; First Aid and other relevant tickets are a bonus.
* Added advantage if you have:
o Experience in delivering security projects.
o Current Defence clearance.
