Your role, your impactLooking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? We're seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse, multidisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver supports in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals, using evidence‐informed best practice
* Use assessments, observations, and child development knowledge to tailor support options for each child and family
* Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, building their skills and confidence through coaching in everyday environments
* Connect children and families with their community to support inclusion and meaningful participation
* Maintain thorough and accurate records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals within the NDIA business system
* Guide families through the NDIS journey, including application, implementation, and funding processes
We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in specialist early childhood settings or Schools for Specific Purposes (SSP), and who demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood developmental milestones.
Who we're looking for
* Candidates with Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education / Educationor Allied Health disciplines, including Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology.
* Expert knowledge of child development with the ability to identify developmental concerns
* A proven track record supporting children and families with developmental delays and disabilities, including practical strategies for use at home and in other settings
* Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach, early childhood intervention best‐practice principles, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
