Job Description
Full clinic schedule Monday‐Friday, 8‐10 patients daily (1‐2 inpatients). Work with a nursing team and visiting cardiologists. Remote travel may be required to nearby locations.
Responsibilities
* Perform echocardiograms, exercise stress tests, and stress echocardiograms.
* Conduct Holter monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
* See 8‐10 patients daily, including 1‐2 inpatients.
* Collaborate with dedicated nursing staff to provide high‐quality patient care.
* Work alongside visiting cardiologists, ensuring continuity of service.
* Occasionally perform paediatric scans as needed.
* Participate in remote work opportunities, traveling with the cardiologist to locations such as Kununurra, Halls Creek, Derby, and Fitzroy Crossing.
* Maintain accurate patient records and reporting in accordance with facility protocols.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in cardiac sonography, with recent experience working in remote Aboriginal/Indigenous community settings.
* Current ASAR Registration to practice as a cardiac sonographer in Australia.
* Valid working rights for Australia and compliance with visa and employment regulations.
* Ability to be credentialed to WA Health standards, with support provided by the team.
* Proficiency in performing a variety of diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and engage with diverse patient populations.
