About the Role
As the HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s human resources and workplace health and safety functions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
* Providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management.
* Supporting staff wellbeing and promoting a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
* Leading initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and wellbeing.
* Promoting a safety-first culture through WHS audits, risk assessments, and incident management.
* Managing workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
What You’ll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in HR, WHS, Business or related field, or 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including Fair Work Act, NES, WHS legislation, and Modern Awards.
* Strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
* Proficiency in HRIS platforms (preferably Employment Hero) and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail and sound judgment.
Essential requirements
* Current National Criminal History Certificate (less than 3 years old).
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Blue Card.
