Accounts Administration Officer
Your current company
is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support our finance and administrative functions. This dynamic role offers exposure across payroll, accounting, HR, and general business operations.
Your new role
- Manage and support full-cycle payroll processing.
- Assist with compliance reporting including BAS
- Provide support for HR-related tasks and documentation.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and process incoming payments (EFTPOS, credit card, etc.).
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and ensure adherence to trade credit terms.
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
- Contribute to product costing through data analysis to support pricing and profitability decisions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and account reconciliation.
- Review and process credit applications and maintain debtor/creditor records.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile supplier statements monthly.
What you'll need to succeed
As well as experience related to the above, you will have a proven track record in the following:
- Exceptional attention to detail – accuracy is key across financial and administrative tasks.
- Strong organisational skills – ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability – able to pivot between tasks and respond to changing priorities.
