**About the role**
We currently have a vacancy in our IT team for Help Desk Support, our team is based internally and this role will play a vital part in the business.
- Respond to, and resolve, help desk requests including investigating and troubleshooting issues and follow-up where necessary
- Create, manage, update and route IT tickets within the local and global teams
- Install new / rebuild existing computers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, security permissions, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures including coordinating and communicate with impacted customers
- Provide induction training for new staff and when new systems or hardware are introduced
- Provide assistance to other IT staff as required
- Raise, and manage, departmental purchase orders where required
About you
- 2+ yrs experience in a level one/two helpdesk or system administrator role
- Professionally manage small to medium projects with reporting to management
- Demonstrate management and troubleshooting of complex IT issues
- Previous experience participating in a range of IT projects
- Previous experience in greenfield deployments is desirable
- Experience with Windows and Linux servers, VMware, Cisco is desirable
- ITIL and MSCA certifications are desirable
- Ability to manage and support users in remote and varied locations
- Ability to manage priorities and triage incidents
- Good customer relations skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team
- Superior problem solving and adaptability
- Able to identify and prioritise improvement methods
- Adaptable and flexible in approach and solutions
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Valid drivers licence and own transport
