About the Role
This Purchasing Specialist position is perfect for someone who combines strong communication skills with commercial curiosity and a can-do attitude. You will support Category Managers and the Head of Procurement with BAU sourcing tasks and enterprise-wide priorities, lead or assist with procurement activities across indirect categories, and respond to day-to-day operational queries from business sites.
* Supporting Category Managers: Assist with BAU sourcing tasks and enterprise-wide priorities.
* Procurement Activities: Lead or assist with procurement activities across indirect categories.
* Operational Queries: Respond to day-to-day operational queries from business sites.
In this role, you will liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders on onboarding, pricing updates, and product/service availability. You will also assist with data analysis, tender administration, and vendor performance tracking. Additionally, you will provide administrative and coordination support for procurement projects.
Requirements
* Procurement Experience: At least 1 year of procurement experience (indirect/non-clinical categories ideal, but not essential).
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills – you're confident engaging with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
* Personality: Energetic, personable, and approachable with a proactive attitude.
* Organisation: Organised and detail-focused, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Analytical Skills: Commercially minded and analytical, with a willingness to learn and grow.
