Are you an experienced Estimator or Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? Reporting directly to the Senior Estimator, you'll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tender bids, supporting project financials, and contributing to the success of high-profile construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Estimator at Manteena, you will be at the heart of our project success, turning plans into precise, competitive bids that win work and drive performance. You'll dive into drawings and documentation, uncovering insights and identifying risks, while collaborating with subcontractors to secure the best value.
* Assist in the preparation of high-quality tender submissions and cost estimates.
* Conduct quantity take-offs and cost planning for various trades and scopes.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
* Support the Senior Estimator in evaluating documentation and identifying inconsistencies.
* Participate in post-award financial tasks and variation assessments.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS standards, and industry regulations.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating department.
About You:
* Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
* 5 + years' experience in a similar role within commercial construction industry.
* Experience working on complex commercial projects valued over $30m
* Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships.
* Growth mindset and a genuine desire to develop professionally within a team environment.
* A background in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is highly regarded.

Qualifications:
* Tertiary Qualifications in Quantity Surveying and/or Construction Management
* White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Crystalline Silica Awareness
* Full Australian Driver's License and Own Vehicle
* Other Building and Construction Qualifications Highly Regarded.
