**Position Information**:
Glenmore Park High School is a modern co-educational, comprehensive high school in Western Sydney located in a community experiencing significant growth. The school has an enrolment of 1000 students, 8% Aboriginal and includes a special education unit of eight classes. The school provides excellent opportunities for individual student success in a caring educational environment. The school has extremely strong connections with partner primary and secondary schools, Western Sydney University (WSU), our local Aboriginal Education Group and the wider business community.

We achieve this through quality teaching and inspirational, unique learning experiences. **Selection Criteria**:
- Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (secondary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (secondary) in mainstream classes.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, effective communication and building positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, external agencies and the wider school community.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide specialist support for teachers to create and implement differentiated teaching programs for a diverse range of students, including Aboriginal students.
- Knowledge, skills and experience in developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Education Plans, Behaviour Plans and Transition Plans to cater for the learning, social, emotional, sensory and communication needs of students with additional learning needs.
