About The Role This role provides strategic leadership in the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused and cost-effective project andasset management services that enhance and maintain Bayside Council’s infrastructure assets. Working across multiple business units, the role drives proactive and sustainable city asset and infrastructure initiatives that support the long-term needs of our diverse and growing community. You can also expect to: Lead infrastructure planning and reporting, asset condition inspections, spatial and asset information, traffic and road safety initiatives, and parking demand management Collaborate across Council to deliver strategies and programs that optimise land use, capital works and infrastructure outcomes Provide expert input into tenders, proposals and project submissions Identify risk factors and implement strategies to support delivery of Council plans Oversee development of funding strategies and preparation of submissions for priority initiatives Design and implement innovative stakeholder engagement activities Promote Council’s values through transparent decision making and professional, ethical behaviour About You We are looking for someone who demonstrates: Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary team Broad knowledge across infrastructure, asset management or related functional areas Strong financial capabilities, including developing and managing budgets Ability to work autonomously, set priorities, and deliver projects to time, quality and budget requirements Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills A commitment to ethical, socially responsible and community-focused service delivery Our Benefits And Culture As an organisation, we pride ourselves in offering a flexible working environment centred on delivering great outcomes for our customers, whether internal or external.
