Ready to inspire confidence IRL? As a Connected Learning Educator in Brisbane, you’ll run fun after-school programs that mix learning, games, and creativity to help kids in Year 3–6 boost their public speaking, confidence, resilience, and life skills. This role is perfect if you’re studying (or just finished) drama, education, psychology, or if you simply love performing, working with kids, and bringing good vibes.
The role (in a nutshell)
* Casual, after-school sessions in primary schools around Brisbane
* You’ll lead programs like Public Speaking and “Mighty Me” (confidence + resilience).
* All training, lesson plans, and activities are provided—no teaching experience needed.
Why it’s cool
* You’re not just “teaching”; you’re creating a safe, fun space where kids feel seen, heard, and hyped up for who they are.
* You’ll help them build real-life skills: communication, emotional regulation, social skills, and leadership.
* Everything is grounded in empathy, storytelling, and the science of how people learn and grow.
What you’ll actually do
* Run high-energy sessions after school using games, roleplays, and real-life skills.
* Use storytelling, performance, and simple psychology ideas to help kids feel more confident and capable.
* Create a fun & respectful environment where every kid feels safe to speak up and be themselves.
* Chat with parents when needed to help with their child’s development and showcase the Connected Learning Way!

You might be a great fit if you:
* Bring energy. Are bubbly, friendly, and not afraid to be a bit silly to make kids laugh.
* Love acting, TikTok skits, debating, public speaking, or any kind of performing.
* Are into things like mental health, child development, or how people think and feel—even if you’ve never studied it formally.
* Are kind, patient, and good at including everyone, especially quieter kids or those who need extra support.
